We're currently looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial transactions, reporting, and compliance of several group entities including Game Lounge limited.



The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable/receivable, assisting the Senior Accountant in preparing financial statements, conducting month-end closings, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.



The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting principles, experience with accounting software, and excellent analytical skills. This role supports the company’s financial health, providing insights for informed decision-making and ensuring compliance with regulations



What you’ll do:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and summaries in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and cash transactions.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
Prepare and file vat returns and other regulatory filings as required.
Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit processes.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and automate workflows.
Participate in other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required to support team objectives and organizational goals.
