How did you get into binary affiliation?
I originally saw a banner on CasinoAffiliateProgams.com about binary options. At the time I was learning forex trading, and after some research thought there could be an opportunity to build a binary options information portal.

How does the revenue model work? How does it differ from the traditional iGaming models?
Revenue or commissions are structured very similarly to iGaming affiliate commissions. You have CPA, rev share and fixed deals.

How many binary options bet brokers currently work with affiliates and offer affiliate programmes?
There seem to be hundreds of binary brokers on the market, of which most have an affiliate programme. I work closely with five brokers, but have joined most programmes, as I review each broker on the market.

What are your main strategies for getting players in?
My main strategies for acquiring customers are education through courses. I also provide signals services and technical indicators catered for binary options trading.

Which type of content works best, and how do you generate this?
Having content that is catered to right audience with a good sales funnel is what I focus on. I have content that caters for beginner and advanced traders. My content is provided by my team of trading analysts, who are experts.

iGaming affiliates, in my opinion, have the best odds to transfer their skill-set to binary options than anyone else looking to become an affiliate.

What are the main keywords and how much can you expect to pay?
The main keywords are “binary options” & “binary trading” that can attract average CPC on AdWords as high as $10, depending on the geo market or competitors. I’m sure clicks have gone for as high as $50. Personally, I do not spend money on highly competitive keywords.

Do you need to be an expert in financial marketing, or could an iGaming affiliate easily transfer their skill set?
No, you don’t, but as with anything in life, the better your own understanding is of something the better shape you will be in. iGaming affiliates, in my opinion, have the best odds to transfer their skill-set to binary options than anyone else looking to become an affiliate.

Is the term “introducing broker” the same as an affiliate?
Introducing brokers is a term coined from the forex space. IB grew from expert traders wishing to “introduce” other traders into a broker and in return be compensated. It pretty much is the same as an affiliate programme. An IB may or may not have a linking code, but rather a word of mouth or coupon type of tracking system

Are there any regulations that affiliates working in this field should be aware of?
My websites are compliant under the IDS (Internet Discussion Site) and do not require any formal financial licence. The majority of brokers will be regulated by some financial jurisdiction. I think its smart to work with regulated brokers because you know they are fi nancially well backed and you should have no problems paying out commissions. Most readers will be aware of the nightmare poker affiliates went through with Black Friday, after working with unregulated poker sites.
