Playtech’s IMS back-office marketing and player management system has been integrated with a revamped Playtech Open Platform (POP) content aggregation system, the gaming solutions provider has announced.

IMS, a data-driven platform, offers licensees more opportunities to engage with players, such as the option to wrap external games with Playtech’s features, including game-specific and free spin bonuses.

The likes of Buzz Bingo, which signed a broad player management and marketing agreement with Playtech last year, will have access to the new POP, which has also been connected with Marketplace, a service that allows operators to identify and select games.

The newly-revamped POP will also be complemented by the GPAS content design and development support platform, with Playtech hoping that the new offering will become a hub for developers, as well as operators.

“Playtech’s technology continues to serve as the architecture of the betting and gaming industry for operators and content providers,” Playtech chief operating officer Shimon Akad said.

“POP will cement Playtech’s status as the platform and technology provider of choice in the industry by bringing unparalleled access and integration capabilities to users. Combined with Marketplace and GPAS, we are looking at the future of content creation & discovery for the industry.”

Buzz Bingo CEO Chris Matthews added: “Our partnership with Playtech has the potential to be a game-changer. The new platform takes us to the next level and will allow us to deliver a significantly enhanced player journey across both retail and digital. We’re really excited about what’s ahead as we continue to develop our offer.”
