Nektan hails affiliate marketing impact

Nektan’s B2C chief operating officer Michael Byrne has hailed the “significant” role played by affiliate marketing in supporting the growth of The Sun Play.

The Sun Play, owned and operated by News UK, posted net gaming revenue of £1.8m (€2m/$2.4m) in the 12 months through to July 2018 – a 47% increase on the previous year.

Nektan manages the entire slots site operation and player gaming experience at The Sun Play, powering the brand with its proprietary white label platform, Evolve.

“Of course, compliant affiliate marketing plays a significant part in helping to grow the brand and raise its awareness,” Byrne told iGBAffiliate.com.

“Ultimately the technology that powers the platform is fundamental, particularly when it comes to operating white label sites.

“Evolve manages everything from CRM, customer services, compliance measures, the payment processing and more, meaning brands can hone in on their marketing plans safe in the knowledge that the technology they are working with, is robust, secure and reliable.”

Three years ago, Nektan established Nektan Marketing Services, a digital marketing campaign analysis affiliate programme, through a joint venture with Betfred founder Fred Done and Warren Jacobs, managing director of gaming affiliate operator ActiveWin Media.

The Nektan Affiliates programme also offers acquisition tools and dedicated account managers.
