A recreational gambler for most of his adult life, when in the early 2000  betting exchanges were born, Pierluigi started betting professionally and for few years made a living trading on betting exchanges.

At the same time in his moderating role for the largest Italian betting forum, he helped players with complaints and eventually at the end of 2003 founded BookmakersReview.com. Over the following years, rating online bookmakers and helping players getting paid from dodgy betting sites changed from hobby to full time job.

Today Bookmakers Review (BMR as players call it on betting forums) is a bookmaker ratings authority, well respected by players and industry operators alike.
