Michael Corfman, CEO of Casino City and Executive Director of the GPWA (Gambling Portal Webmasters Association), is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  Before co-founding Casino City’s parent company in 1990 he worked for fifteen years in a variety of software development and management roles.

The http://www.casinocity.com/ website was launched in 1995 and today is the most complete and comprehensive directory of both online gambling sites and land-based gaming facilities on the web and one of the most well-known gaming affiliate sites in the world, with millions of visitors annually.  In 2002 Casino City expanded to cover gaming news with the acquisition of the Rolling Good Times and the subsequent 2009 acquisition of iGaming News.  Today the CasinoCityTimes.com website houses a collection of nearly 100,000 gaming industry news and strategy articles, the largest such archive in the world.In 2000 Michael started CasinoCityPress.com through the acquisition of Nevada Gaming Publishing as part of a strategy to expand into the gaming industry’s business-to-business marketplace.  Today, in addition to its industry publications, Casino City Press operates the iGamingSuppliers.com  website, featuring over 1,000 iGaming industry suppliers; the CasinoVendors.com website, featuring over 10,000 general gaming industry suppliers; and the GamingDirectory.com website, which provides contact information for 25,000 gaming executives at 5,000 locations worldwide.Mr. Corfman became the Executive Director of the GPWA.org Gambling Portal Webmasters Association when his firm acquired the organization and assumed financial responsibility for its operation in July 2006.  Under his tenure the GPWA has grown to be the largest and most active iGaming affiliate organization in the world, with 10,000 registered members and 300,000 forum posts.  The GPWA publishes the GPWA Times magazine and a weekly email newsletter and also offers a GPWA Approved Portal seal that has been awarded to over 1,300 affiliate websites.  Through another acquisition in October 2008 the APCW.org  Association of Players, Casinos and Webmasters (APCW) became a sister organization of the GPWA.  The APCW has produced over 150 news videos for the iGaming affiliate industry and boasts well over two million views.
